By Joyce Remi-Babayeju

The FCT Minister Barr.. Nyesom Wike has stated that the construction of roads in rural communities is a testament that the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu is working.

Wike made this known on Wednesday during an inspection of the long stretch of Yangoji Sukuku road in Kwali Local Government Area of Abuja.

Speaking to newsmen at the Sukuku community, Wike expressed amazement at the length of the road, noting the positive impact it has on the communities.
” I can’t believe what I am seeing, thank God the Renewed Hope Agenda is working.”

” I am really impressed, and l will make use of everything within my power to make sure the contractor completes and delivers the road by December as he promised”, Wike emphasized.

Meanwhile, the minister noted the added value of the Sukuku road to agriculture and economic input on the communities.

Wike said,” This is a community, you can see farms, and if the government can capitalize on this, then we can solve food problems.”

The minister, however, said that the government is a continuum, it cannot solve all the problems; adding that the present government is making efforts to ensure citizens are relieved of their burdens.

Earlier, the FCT Minister had inspected the Emergency Construction of Old Ushafa – LUD Road and Rehabilitation of Dutse – Lower Usuman Dam Dual Carriage Way, and Upgrading of War College / Army Check Point and other axillary roads in Bwari Area CounciI.
