Residents of Plateau South Senatorial District have expressed their appreciation for the completion of the first phase of classroom projects initiated by Senator Simon Bako Lalong within his first year in office.
Education Interventions Across the District
The classroom projects are part of Senator Lalong’s education interventions, which aim to benefit all six local government areas during his tenure. The first phase of completed classroom blocks includes:
- LEA Tabbat, Langtang North LGA
- Adama Pilot Science Primary School, Wase LGA
- LEA Primary School, Lu-Shinkwan, Shendam LGA

More Projects in the Pipeline
Senator Lalong has assured constituents that additional projects in education, health, roads, water, energy, sports, and agriculture will be implemented as part of the 2025 budget execution.
Additionally, he highlighted empowerment programs aimed at creating economic opportunities for women and youth in the region.
Commitment to Development
It is noteworthy that the 2024 budget was already prepared before Senator Lalong assumed office. However, the 2025 budget will be his first full opportunity to influence development in the district, ensuring that the needs of the people are prioritized.
