Dan Gwari Challenges Nigeria’s Parliament To Tackle Naira Redesign Tussle

By Jabiru Hassan, Kano.

A business man in Kano Alhaji Usman Dangwari called on the National assembly to tackle the issue of new naira redesign that is turning into another dimension in the country at the time of general elections.

He made the challenge in an interview with newsmen in Kano, adding that what is happening in this great nation is something that needs urgent action because the average Nigerians are certainly suffering at present.

Dangwari lamented that ” our lawmakers should come to the aid of the people by taking severe measures against the CBN leadership who is always acting like he is above the law, and the president should have the listening ears because almost all the categories of citizens have made similar call about the extantion of the deadline but all in vein”.

Usman Dangwari stressed that the naira redesign should have been done since or after the elections but now, they are killing the ruling party and it’s popularity is now fading due to the hardships being experienced by those who voted it into power in 2015 with hope that all would be well.

In conclusion, Alhaji Usman Dangwari disclosed that Nigeria’s parliament must act urgent by punishing the CBN leadership in order to save Nigeria from taking citizens to wrong lane.
