Davido Blasts Blog Over Misleading Headline Linking Him to Kidnappers

Afrobeats superstar David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, has expressed outrage over a misleading headline that falsely associated him with kidnappers.

A blog on X had posted a video of three suspected kidnappers arrested in Lagos, using the caption, “Davido and two others apprehended for kidnapping in Lagos.” The misleading headline referred to the gang leader, who shares a nickname with the singer, but left many fans confused, sparking unnecessary speculation.

Angered by the post, Davido warned against such deceptive reporting and hinted at taking action in the future.

Reposting the news, he wrote, “One day go be one day… Continue. My karma no dey always tey.”

The singer’s response suggests he believes those spreading false narratives will eventually face consequences.
