Davido’s Protege, Logos Olori, Survives Car Accident

By Daniel Edu

On a recent Sunday, Nigerian singer and rapper, Logos Olori, narrowly escaped a serious car accident in Lekki, Lagos.

The artist, who is signed to Davido Music Worldwide (DMW), confirmed the incident through his Instagram page.

Sharing images of his damaged vehicle, Olori revealed that his label boss, Davido, had assured him of replacing the car with a new one.

He also took the opportunity to urge the government to address the deteriorating state of the Lekki road, which was the location of the accident.

He wrote, “Thank God for life. Only one Godfather 001 @davido. New car on the way. ‘Make them try do Lekki road.'”

It’s worth noting that Logos Olori’s debut single, ‘Jaye Lo,’ stirred controversy in July when its video featured scenes of people praying and dancing in front of a mosque. This drew criticism from some Muslims who considered it disrespectful to Islam. After initially not responding to the backlash, Davido, the DMW boss, eventually removed the “offensive” video from his social media pages and shot a new video for his artist.
