Deadly Gang Clash Claims 22 Lives in Benue State

A total of 22 individuals were killed in Ukum Local Government Area of Benue State, following a violent clash between rival gangs in Chito and Tyo Akosu communities. The fight, involving criminal groups known as ‘Chain Gang’ and ‘Full Fire,’ resulted in 15 casualties in Chito, while seven individuals were killed in an attack on a local drinking spot in Tyo Akosu. The violence escalated over a fight for supremacy, with fears spreading among locals as the conflict escalated. Police authorities have yet to confirm the incidents.
