Edo Election: Senator Natasha Urges Support for PDP’s Ighodalo

Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan (Kogi Central) has called on residents of Edo State to support the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) governorship candidate, Asue Ighodalo, and his running mate, Omorodion Ogie, in the upcoming gubernatorial election on Saturday, September 21.

Speaking at rallies held in Igarra, Lampese, and Ibillo in Akoko-Edo on Sunday, Senator Akpoti-Uduaghan appealed to the Ebira community and other tribes in the region to vote for the PDP, stressing the importance of ensuring the continuation of democratic dividends in the state.

In a statement released by her chief press secretary, Arogbonlo Israel, the senator expressed confidence in the people’s decision, saying, “I care about you and trust you’ll make the right choice on Saturday, September 21, 2024. Vote PDP.”

Asue Ighodalo, the PDP candidate, is a respected Nigerian politician and businessman with a strong commitment to the development of Edo State. Born and raised in Edo, his deep understanding of the state’s challenges and opportunities has prepared him to provide practical solutions.

With a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from the University of Ibadan and a Master’s in Business Administration from the University of Lagos, Ighodalo’s academic background supports his leadership journey. His experience as a key member of the state’s economic team has further honed his skills in policy-making and governance, positioning him as a strong candidate for the governorship.
