Eid-el-Fitri: Kogi APC Guber Candidate Solicits Prayer For National Peace, Dev. Of Kogi

From Noah Ocheni, Lokoja

The Candidate of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), Alhaji Usman Ahmed Ododo has called for general prayer for national peace and even development.

Alh. Ododo in a statement made available to Journalists in Lokoja
felicitated with Muslims in the State and the country at large on the celebration of this year’s Eid el Fitri.

He congratulated Muslim faithful on the successful completion of Ramadan Fast, urging them to imbibe the spirit of humility, love and sacrifice that the season represent.

According to him, the Holy Month of Ramadan is a blessing to him following his emergence in the just concluded Governorship Primaries, saying his victory is one of the blessings of the Month of Ramadan.

The APC Guber Flag Bearer, however, enjoined the Muslims to imbibe the lessons of the season beyond the Holy month to earn them Allah’s blessings.

Ododo therefore called on the people of the state to be security alert and report suspicious movement capable of causing security breach to the security agents.
