El-Zazzaky distributes Salah foodstuff to Muslims, Christians, Journalists

The distribution of large scale foodstuffs of Shiekh Ibrahim
El-Zazzaky, the leader of the lslamic Movement in Nigeria (IMN), the Shiites, has commenced.

The foods items being shared indiscriminately for Muslims, Christians and Journalists, across the 19 northern states of Nigeria, include bags of Rice, Beans and Millet respectively.

The distribution of foodstuffs which commenced since the beginning of the Ramadan, expected to last for 30 days, Officials of the Shiekh has revealed.

Already, hundreds bags of the food items have been distributed to other states in order to encourage poor Muslims to pray for peace stability of the country.

According to the instruction from Shiekh El-Zazzaky, every year, hundreds of bags of grains and other foodstuffs is usually given-out to the poor Muslims and disabled persons, adding that the essence of the gesture is to support Muslims with food to eat during the holy month of Ramadan.

“Even last year, the annual Ramadan Food distribution include Christians and other journalists and other peace Ambassadors across the region.
“This year also ,the foodstuff is shared to many Christians and journalists in Kaduna and some part of the region”, he stated.

He added that, Covid-19 has caused an increased in the rise of foodstuff in the entire country hence the need for him to assist the needy on a season like this.

While wishing every Muslims a happy Salah in advance, Sheikh also called for peace and unity in the country.

“The food items were distributed to all the 19 northern states of Nigeria, and is for the support of the poor Muslims to pray and Fast with enough food, while reminding the authourity of his illegal detention for over 5 years.

Responding, one of the Islamic scholar in kaduna, Mallam Gambo Barnawa expressed surprised that despite been in prison, El-Zazzaky still doles-out foods and other humanitarian assistance to the neede.
He therefore called on Muslims and Christians to keep praying for peace in the country.
