Eleven Persons From Goronyo Died In A Ghastly Motor Accident

Eleven persons from Takakume in Goronyo Local Government lost their lives in a ghastly motor accident. 
The accident which occurred at Kwanar Kawadata, just outside Goronyo town, involved a vehicle conveying persons, mostly women, from Takakume to Lafiya in Nasarawa State.

The driver lost control while negotiating a sharp bend and skidded off the road killing himself and ten others. 
Ten of the deceased, seven women and three men, were from Takakume village while the driver was from Nasarawa State. 


The chairman of Goronyo Local Government,Zakari Muhammad Shinaka and the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Information, Ibrahim Adamu, were among the people that attended the funeral at Takakume cemetery. 
Condoling with the people of the town and families of the deceased, Shinaka prayed for the repose souls of the deceased and urged the families of the deceased to consider the accident as ordained by Allah.


 He prayed Allah to give the families and relations of the deceased the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.
