The Speaker of the Kano State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Jibril Ismail Falgore, has extended warm greetings to Christian faithful on the occasion of the Christmas festivities.
In a press statement signed by his spokesperson, Kamaluddeen Sani Shawai, Falgore congratulated Christians in Kano and across the country, emphasizing the bond of unity and mutual respect among the people of Kano.
“Christmas is a season of love and tolerance,” Falgore said. “I urge all Christian faithful to love one another, embrace tolerance, support the poor, and remain grateful to God. Let’s make this Christmas great and memorable for everyone around us, despite the current economic challenges our country faces.”
The Speaker also called on Christians to be law-abiding during the festivities and to support the government’s efforts to enhance peace and stability in the state.
He reaffirmed the Kano State Assembly’s commitment to working with the state government, under the leadership of Governor Engr. Abba Kabir Yusuf, to ensure a harmonious and conducive environment for all residents, irrespective of religion, tribe, or social status.
