FCT CROSSJOF Fecilitates With Amb Soni Abang Over SSDC Appointment

The FCT Cross River State Journalists Forum (CROSSJOF) has felicitate with Ambassador Chief Soni Abang over his recent appointment as the Executive Director, Finance, of the South South Development Commission (SSDC).

In a statement signed by the acting secretary of the association, Mr. Raphael Ekpang, stated that Amb. Abang’s appointment came as a recognition of his vast experience in administration and diplomatic style of ò.

The Association also lauded his progression from a local government chairman to the state chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and later became Nigeria’s Ambassador to Mali was a strong testament of Amb. Abng’s character as a leader.

The acting chairman of CROSSJOF, Mrs. Franscica Ogar said, “we are not surprised at Amb. Soni Abang’s appointment because we know and believe that he has the capacity and ability to deliver on his mandate and he will do even better in his new office.

“We know your appointment will be a blessing not only to Cross River State, the South South region but also to Nigeria. Therefore, we congratulate you once again and wish you well on your new job”, Ogar said.

Meanwhile, CROSSJOF has expressed its profound gratitude to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Cross River State Governor, Senator Prince Bassey Otu, for the appointment; adding that by this Cross River State is reclaiming her position in Tinubu’s administration.
