Federal Government Called Upon Include VGN Members To Secure Rail Lines – Ungogo

Federal government and Nigerian Railway Corporation has been advised to use genuine Vigilante Group of Nigeria members to ensure that all the national rail lines are secured for hitch-free Train transportation across destinations.

The call was made by an intelligence officer with VGN, Muktar Abdullahi Ungogo in an interaction with our correspondent in Kano, adding that Vigilante Group of Nigeria, popularly known as VGN has been working day and night assisting security agencies in the secure of lives and properties of the citizens since it was established decades ago.

Ungogo added that ” We are working on voluntary basis by assisting the Nigerian security to ensure that all is well in the country despite the lack of adequate working materials which comprises vehicles, motorcycles and other related items that are needed by security personnel”. He lamented.

Muktar Abdullahi Ungogo commended the VGN commander-General, Navy Captain Umar Baker and all the states commanders for working together as a team in promoting peace and progress at both rural and urban settlements, and thanked the executive chairman of Dawakin Tofa local government council for assisting the group’s members across his domain.
