FIDA Committed To Fighting For Women Gender Abuse In Kano- Secretary

The secretary-general of the international federation of female lawyers(FIDA),  Arrister Amina Umar disclosed that  the organisation would continue to fight against women gender abuse in the societies and ensure that offenders gets severe punishment according to the offense committed.
She made the disclosure in an interview with our correspondent when he visited the association’s office, adding that ” we are working Selflessly to make sure that the issue of women abuse is rapidly reducing through different ways, and at the same time punish those who were found guilty of any type of rights violation on women gender so as to serve as a lesson to those who intends to commits such offense “. She lamented.
Barrister Amina Umar said that FIDA has offices and members in 29 states including the federal capital territory Abuja where all cases related to women and children abuse are being followers till the final stage, and to ensure that offenders were dealt with accordingly like what is being witnessed in our courts.
The secretary announced that FIDA is a non-profit organisation that makes contribution amongst it’s members so as to discharge duties because according to her, all services are free right from the beginning to the end of any case received by the organisation  as seen today, where she called on the general public to report anybody found  abusing women gender.
Speaking on their relationship with other security agencies, Barrister Amina Umar stressed that ” we are working together with all the security agencies comprising police, judiciary, correctional centres and the commissioner for women affairs and the media which is an encouraging in so many respects, and we are also operating an open door policies to enable the people to report anything relates to women gender abuse”. She emphasized.

Furthermore, Barrister Amina Umar thanked the German Embassy and Is a Wali Empowerment Initiative for collaboration with FIDA in the fight against women and children abuse which is becoming  profitable, where she finally commended the Kano state governor Abdullahi Umar Ganduje for his intention to provide FIDA with working vehicle and supports to acquire permanent office complex  for conducive working atmosphere.
