Five Day Training Workshop For Women Commissioned In Sokoto

A 5 day training workshop for 268 school teachers comprising of males and females on how to guide women to become productive members of the society through girls child education was officially opened in the state.
The official opening ceremony for the training workshop was held at Sultan Muhammad Maccido Institute for Quran and General Studies Sokoto.
The programme which aims at sensitising the women on the role of girls child education in the society is being attended by teachers across eight 8 local government areas of the state that include Goronyo, Sabon-Birni, Binji, Sokoto North, Dange-Shuni, and Bodinga.
Information Officer of the Board, Murtala Danladi Tsamayr said the training workshop which is jointly organised by State Universal Basic Education Board, Sokoto and UNICEF would continue from 8. 00am to 3.00pm daily.
