Diezani Alison-Madueke, the former Minister of Petroleum Resources, has been charged by UK police with bribery offenses. Alison-Madueke is accused of benefiting from cash, luxury vehicles, private jet flights, extravagant family vacations, and the use of multiple London properties. The charges also include rewards such as furniture, property renovations, staff payments, private school fees, and gifts from high-end designer shops. She is scheduled to appear in Westminster Magistrates’ Court on October 2, 2023.
