Coming October 28, the fight will take place in Riyadh, the capital of Saudi Arabia.
In December, Fury defeated fellow countryman Derek Chisora in under 10 rounds.
Francis Ngannou, the 36-year-old Cameroonian-French opponent and former UFC Heavyweight Champion, had no prior professional boxing experience, but he stated that facing Fury in the ring was a dream come true.
In his 20 professional UFC fights, Ngannou has 17 victories, including 12 knockouts.

Speaking after the fight with Fury was confirmed, Ngannou expressed his excitement about transitioning to boxing.
He said, “I’ve been waiting to meet Tyson in the ring for the past three years. My dream was always to box, and to box the best.
“After becoming the undisputed MMA Heavyweight Champion, this is my opportunity to make that dream come true and cement my position as the baddest man on the planet,”
Ngannou in Batie
Ngannou then took to his official social media platforms to show off his hometown of Batie.
Along with photos was a message that said, “Chillin in the village one last time before we go back to business #Batie.”
Ngannou and Mbappe
Ngannou’s picture in Batie comes after he teamed up with Paris Saint-Germain forward Kylian Mbappe.
Mbappe and Ngannou enjoyed a local Cameroonian delicacy named Ndole, with photos going viral.
Ngannou is now expected to return to training ahead of the the fight against Fury.
