Godfathers Killing Nigeria’s Democracy,

A former local government council chairman in kano state Alhaji Yau Mohammed said that the politics of Godfathers is gradually killing Nigeria’s Democracy which is also crippling the country’s development in a present Democratic dispensation.

He disclosed this in an interview with our correspondent in kano, where he assured that if the politics of Godfather is not practice, Nigeria’s democracy would surely becomes more beneficial to the electorates especially when the leaders are left to decide what is important to their teaming citizens.

Alhaji Yau Mohammed who ruled for two terms said that whenever there is freedom in democracy, the electorates always benefits from many developmental projects that promotes good livelihood and peaceful coexistence at both rural and urban settlements.

Speaking on the current security situation in Nigeria, Alhaji Yau Mohammed called on the general public to always feed the security agencies with genuine information whenever they sighted something threatening for peace to reign in the country.
