Gov Alia Inaugurates Civil Protection Guards, Donates 100 Operational Vehicles  to Tackle Insecurity

Determined to tackle insecurity bedeviling the state, Benue State Governor, Rev Fr Hyacinth Alia, has inaugurated Benue State Civil Protection Guards (BSCPG), code named  Operation “Anyam Nyor” a Joint Security Taskforce.
The Governor who performed the ceremony at the IBB square, Makurdi, assured people of Benue State that his administration would ensure safety of lives of every Benue citizen and create a conducive working environment for development to thrive.
He donated one hundred operational vehicles and six hundred special combatant motorcycles to security agencies in Benue State, stressing that the inauguration of Benue State Civil Protection Guards and donation of  security vehicles was a demonstration of his commitment to security and well-being of Benue people.
“As the Governor of Benue State, I am aware of my duty to protect lives and property of our people. My total commitment to ensuring safety of every Benue resident is firm, as security remains my top priority. I am resolute in my determination to safeguard my people and create an environment where they can flourish.”
