Gov Zulum Dissolves Borno State EXCO

Professor Babagana Umara Zulum of BORNO state has disbanded the Borno state executive council with immediate effect.

This was contained in a statement from the office of the secretary to the government, signed by the permanent secretary, administration and general services, Danjuma Ali,and made available to journalists.

The disbanded members have been directed to hand over affairs of their ministries to their respective permanent secretaries.

According to the statement, the dissolution is to create enabling environment for interested members of the EXCO to legally participate in forthcoming primaries and congresses of the All Progressive Congress, APC.

Governor Zulum used the opportunity to express his deepest appreciation to members of the executive council for unquantifiable contributions while they held sway in offices and wishes them the best of luck in their future endeavours.
