Governor Mutfwang Inspects Gully Erosion Project, Expresses Satisfaction with Quality of Work By BAYROYAL International

Plateau State Governor, Barr. Caleb Manasseh Mutfwang, reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to fulfilling campaign promises and improving citizens’ welfare during an inspection of the Plateau Club – Bingham University ACReSAL Gully Erosion Project site in Jos.

The project, handled by BAYROYAL International, involves constructing a seven-kilometer drainage system to curb erosion in the Jos-Bukuru metropolis. 

During the inspection on Thursday, which began opposite the plateau state house of assembly, Governor Mutfwang expressed satisfaction with the quality of work done by BAYROYAL International and urged the contractors to expedite completion before the rainy season. 

Governor Caleb Mutfwang, emphasized the importance of durable and sustainable infrastructure, reiterating that his administration would not tolerate substandard projects.

Accompanied by his Deputy, Ngo Josephine Piyo, the chief of staff Plateau Government House and members of his cabinet, Governor Mutfwang assured residents of his commitment to completing all initiated projects. 

While also speaking during in inspection, Mr. Garba Gowon Gonkol, Project Coordinator of Plateau State Agro-Climatic Resilience in Semi-Arid Landscapes Project (ACReSAL), described the project as fantastic, expressing satisfaction with the quality and level of work done by BAYROYAL International.

Earlier, Dr. Nathen Bawa, CEO/GM of BAYROYAL International, while taking the Governor round promised to deliver the project on time, citing the company’s track record of quality projects. “The project, which began last year 2024, is a 3 year project but we will complete and deliver it to the Plateau State government by October 2025, rather than 2026, because the work is currently above 50%,” Bawa added.

Governor Mutfwang also launched the distribution of Safe Delivery Kits (Mama Kits) to primary healthcare centers across the state. He noted that several projects, including the medical laboratory at the Plateau State Specialist Hospital, were abandoned by the previous administration.

The Governor also Inspected a series of transformative projects, spanning health, education and infrastructure, aimed at enhancing the standard of living for Plateau residents which include: the newly completed Plateau specialist Hospital, state-of-the-art medical laboratory, fully equipped with modern laboratory facilities to provide quality healthcare services, particularly for indigent citizens,  the newly constructed administrative block, which houses the Electronic Medical Records System (E-Hospital), a digital innovation designed to enhance healthcare service delivery across the state, Thirty Hotel at Polo Roundabout, the Jos Wildlife Park ACReSAL fencing project.
