Governor Nasir Idris Inspects Sokoto-Badagry Superhighway in Kebbi State

Kebbi State Governor, H.E. Comrade (Dr.) Nasir Idris, alongside Minister of Works, Engr. David Umahi, and other key officials, inspected a section of the Sokoto-Badagry Superhighway in Gulumbe, Kebbi State, on Tuesday, March 11, 2025.

The governor was joined by Engr. Olufunsho Adebiyi (Permanent Secretary, Federal Ministry of Works), Mr. Dany Abboud (M.D./CEO, HITECH Africa Construction Ltd.), Engr. Seidu Musa (Acting Director, Highways, Road Design), Engr. Abdullahi Umar Farouk (Kebbi State Commissioner of Works and Transport), and Hon. Abdullahi Tanko Yakasai (SSA-P, Community Engagement, North West).

Also present were Minister of State for Works, Bello Muhammad Goronyo, Esq.; former Kebbi State Governor, H.E. (Sen.) Sa’idu Usman Dakingari; Minister of Budget and National Planning, H.E. (Sen.) Abubakar Atiku Bagudu; Speaker of the Kebbi State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Mohammed Usman Ankwai; and Secretary to the State Government, Alh. Yakubu Bala Tafida.

The inspection highlights the government’s commitment to advancing infrastructure development in the region.
