Kogi State Governor Ahmed Ododo has reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to prioritizing infrastructure development and service delivery for the benefit of the people.
Speaking on Tuesday during an interaction with market women at Zango-Daji Market in Adavi Local Government Area, Governor Ododo assured residents of continued efforts to improve their quality of life.
“I decided to stop here to check on you as your servant, and I am glad to see you enjoying the road and streetlights,” he said. “I also heard someone mention the need for a good hospital. Let me assure you that I will provide one very soon. Health is wealth, and this is why we are heavily investing in healthcare to ensure our people enjoy good health.”
The governor’s visit is part of his state-wide inspection of projects ahead of his first anniversary in office. Residents of Zango-Daji, Shettima, and Barracks communities turned out in large numbers to express their gratitude for the completion of key road projects, including the Zone 8 Junction to Barracks, Shettima, Zango-Daji, and GYB Junction roads, as well as the Zone 8 Junction to Confluence Stadium and Crusher Road.
Governor Ododo also inspected the newly rebuilt Local Government Service Commission House and other ongoing projects across the state, underscoring his administration’s dedication to infrastructure development.
