Group Charges Wealthy Individuals In Position To Remember Their Jerusalem, As EDA celebrates BG Adegbe

The chairman of the Emodu Development Association (EDA), Mr. Paul Ikwoche over the weekend charged well meaning Nigerians to always remember their Jerusalem by giving back to their communities.

Mr Paul gave the charge at Maitama Abuja on Saturday during a reception held in honour of Ojogbane Adegbe who was promoted to the rank of a Brigadier General in the Nigerian Army describing him as a kind hearted man that gives back to his Community.

Mr Paul Ikwoche also noted that the promotion of Ojogbane was not only beneficiary to his immediate family but to Nigerians as a whole and Emodu Chiefdom in particular.

He pointed out that Ojogbane has contributed immensely to the missionary work in the village, lifting many people from poverty level to enviable positions and provided jobs for unemployed youths in the land.

Also speaking, the Royal father of the day, chief Michael Wada Idoko prayed for the Brigadier General and the entire people of Emodu chiefdom to grow in grace and honour in order to develop Nigeria and Emodu Land.

In a goodwill message, the President of Emodu Community Secondary School Ofabo Old Students Association (ECSSOOSA), Mr Friday Alfa expressed his gratitude to Brigadier General Ojogbane for his usual attention to the development of Emodu Community Secondsry School Ofabo.

In the same vein, the Chairman EDA Board of Trustees, Alhaji Abubakar Abdulahi Dangara appreciated God Almighty for the life of Brigadier General Ojogbane.

In his response, Brigadier General Ojogbane Adegbe expressed deep gratitude on the honour bestowed on him maintaining that the honour would spur him to serve the Nation and his community in a great capacity.

He encouraged all his well-wishers to be committed to loving one another saying “There is never a time when you have your neighbour’s problem as yours that yours will not become God’s”
