Group promises to deliver Okowa for 2nd term

A political pressure group, Disciples of Good Governance, has promised to do everything possible to deliver Governora Ifeanyi Okowa for second tenure in the upcoming gubernatorial elections in the state.

Prince Lucky Ibiri National Coordinator of the group disclosed this weekend at Owa Alero, Ika North- East Local Government area of the state.

The group was at the residence of Chief Okowa, the octogenarian father of the Governor of Delta State.

The National Coordinator said the group as a platform to enthrone good governance has over two million membership of positive minded young men and women of integrity professionals and grassroots mobilizers who have been playing politics at the ward levels.

Prince Ibiri said that the group was poised to work assiduously with all their strength to positively make sure Okowa comes in and completes his second tenure.

According to him, “Members agreed to support the vision of their leader to see that it comes to reality by being positive and faithful in their thinking, agreeing that the project of Okowa 2019 is achievable with every member in all the over 700 wards of the 25 local government areas of the state”.

National Coordinator therefore, advised every member to register in their respective wards, and sensitize the people of their communities of government projects in their communities.

The members were also reminded that discipleship is a way of serving humanity, saying that they should go back to their territories and evangelize for Okowa.

The group with the slogan ‘Disciples of Good Governance’- Service to humanity has also promise to work for PDP and educate voters through massive and intensive sensitization and awareness creative strategies through media, advocacy and mobilization to see that Alhaji Atiku Abubakar the Wazirin Adamawa and former vice president of Nigeria replaces the incumbent President.
