By Tony Oraeki

A political group in Anambra state under the aegis of Atiku/Obi vanguard for Good Governance, has promised to mobilize no fewer than two million electorate across the 21 local government Area of the state to vote for the flag bearer of the People Democratic party PDP, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar and his running mate Mr. Peter Obi for the 2019 presidential election.

The Anambra state Coordinator of the group, Chief Engr. Fedelis Ochili disclosed this today during a stakeholders meeting at Prince Paradise hotel Awka, Anambra state capital.

He noted that the resolve of the group was predicated on the superlative performance of the duo, adding that it could only be beneficial for the people of the south- east to join millions of voters in other regions in drumming support for them.

He noted further that Anambra state citizens were appreciative of Mr. Peter Obi magnanimity in the development of the state during his reign as the Executive governor of the State.

Ochili also commended Alhaji Atiku Abubakar for his efforts at exposing Nigerians into true federalism and business friendly country to International communities under President Olusegun Obasanjo Administration.

“The aims and objectives of the group is to organize, mobilize and package Ndi-Anambra across the 21 Council Areas of the state to support, work and promote the rescue agenda of Atiku/Obi Presidency.

“To achieve these, there must be unity of purpose, focus and sincerity of heart by members.” He stated.

He pointed that to realize the dream, members must have their permanent voters cards to perform their civic responsibility during the election.

Also speaking at the meeting, the coordinator in Njikoka Council Area, Mr. Romanus Obiagwu said Mr. Peter Obi has achieved so much as governor of Anambra state but regretted that his achievements were being suppressed in the state by the APGA-led government.

Obiagwu tasked other members to take up the responsibility of propagating and projecting the programmes of the group without any fear of intimidation.
