Gunmen on rampage in FCT kill two kidnap 3

Yebu community in the Kwali Area Council of the FCT has been thrown into mourning as gunmen have reportedly attacked the community killing 2 and kidnapping another 3.

The incident according to an eye witness account happened in the wee hours of Wednesday night when the gunmen wielding sophisticated weapons stormed the community from the forest.

the witness who spoke to Daybreak news on the condition of anonymity said the gunmen attacked a house in the community killing two of the occupants and kidnapping three children of the same parents.

one of the dead victim according to the source was trying to escape when he was shot dead by the gunmen.

in a statement, the Chairman of Kwali Area Council in the Federal Capital Territory, Mr Danladi Chiya, confirmed the killings, noting that efforts were being made in concert with the police to track and arrest the perpetrators.
