In its quest to lay a solid foundation for education from the grassroots, Hazras Charity Foundation has visited Jigawa State as part of preparations to donate educational materials to vulnerable schoolchildren in order to better equip them for learning.
Our correspondent, who also serves as Special Adviser on Media and Publicity to the Foundation’s National Chairman, reports that Hazras Charity Foundation is working selflessly to ensure that quality education is provided to young learners for a better tomorrow.
During visits to the Jigawa State Ministry of Budget and Economic Planning, the Ministry of Basic Education, and the State Universal Basic Education Board, the Foundation’s Board of Trustees member, Hajiya Lauratu Ado Diso, and the National Chairman, Dr. Abdullateef Abdulkadir, disclosed that Jigawa State is among the states selected to benefit from the Foundation’s educational support initiative.
They stated that the Foundation is doing everything possible to ensure that its donations reach all targeted areas, focusing on humanitarian programmes directly related to education and community development, and expressed confidence in successfully delivering on its mission.
Responding, the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Budget and Planning, the Commissioner for Basic Education, Dr. Lawan Yunusa Danzomo, and representatives of the Jigawa State Universal Basic Education Board commended the Foundation for its efforts, describing the initiative as an excellent contribution to the promotion of education across the state.
Dr. Danzomo noted that the gesture came at a crucial time when all stakeholders needed to work together toward advancing education, in addition to what the government is already doing. He added that many parents have been yearning for such interventions and expressed pride in Hazras Charity Foundation for its generosity and commitment to supporting the less privileged.
