How to Check 2024 WASSCE Results for Private Candidates: Step-by-Step Guide

The West African Examinations Council (WAEC) has officially released the results for the 2024 West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE) for Private Candidates, Second Series.

This announcement was made on Sunday by the Acting Head of Public Affairs, Moyosola Adesina.

According to WAEC, a total of 65,023 candidates participated in the exam. Of these, 43,923 candidates (67.55%) achieved credit and above in at least five subjects. Additionally, 34,878 candidates (53.64%) earned credit and above in five subjects, including English Language and Mathematics.

Adesina highlighted that this year’s performance is encouraging, with a significant number of candidates attaining strong results.

Steps to Check Your WASSCE Results Online

Candidates can access their results online by following these steps:

1. Visit the WAEC official results portal: [www.waecdirect.org](www.waecdirect.org).
2. Enter your 10-digit WAEC Examination Number.
3. Input the four-digit Examination Year (e.g., 2024).
4. Select ‘Private Candidate Results’ as the examination type.
5. Enter the e-PIN Voucher Number.
6. Provide the Personal Identification Number (PIN) from the e-PIN.
7. Click ‘Submit’ and wait for your results to be displayed.

Candidates experiencing difficulties accessing their results should contact WAEC through its official communication channels for assistance.
