“If It Wasn’t Chioma, I Wouldn’t Get Married” – Davido

By Abigail Philip David

Popular Nigerian singer, Davido, has described his wedding as the happiest day of his life, revealing that he wouldn’t have tied the knot if it weren’t for his wife, Chioma.

Speaking on *The Morning Hustle* podcast, the DMW boss opened up about his love story and the special bond he shares with Chioma. He emphasized that their relationship, which has spanned over a decade, made his decision to marry her an easy one.

“My wedding was the happiest day of my life,” Davido said. “Chioma has been my girl for 12 years, so it was only right I married her. I was already famous before we met, but I wasn’t as big then.”

The singer added that he was unbothered about who attended or skipped the ceremony, focusing instead on the joy of marrying his longtime love.

Reflecting on his commitment to Chioma, he stated: “If it wasn’t her, I’m not getting married. There’s no point.”

Davido’s heartfelt words have sparked admiration from fans who continue to celebrate the couple’s enduring love story.
