INSECURITY: Tambuwal Is The Governor To Emulate -AbdulWahab

Insecurity as an agent of destruction is considered as a bridge that hampers development in any community.

It was against this backdrop Sokoto state government under the leadership of governor Tambuwal has donated 143 operational patrol vehicles and 550 motorcycles to security agencies within the state in 15 months.

It could be recalled that the Eastern parts of the state,in particular, Isa,Sabon-Birni,Goronyo, Wurno and Rabah had been a no go areas as bandits, kidnappers and Boko Haram incessantly cause havoc in such areas.

To curve the menace of those inhuman members, Governor Tambuwal in his concern to his people synergistically approved to expend millions of naira to purchase working materials for the Army,Police and Vigilante to counter insurgency in such areas.

The Council Chairman, AbdulWahab Yahaya who was briefing newsmen at the council chamber reiterated the need for members of society in the areas to fully screen who they interact with as no criminal has a mark on any part of his body to identify.

“Considering the number of indigents killed, kidnapped, injured, coupled with the lost of social amenities important for human existence, it becomes compulsory on all of us to contribute toward insecurity that demean our economy”,AbdulWahab averred.

Meanwhile, the Council Chairman has through the state government secured adequate killer gastroenteritis vaccines to counter the spread of the disease.
