By Richard Akintade, Osogbo

A Chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP in Osun State, Dr. Akin Ogunbiyi on Friday asked his supporters and associates to ignore social media commentaries about him and his political activities.

According to Dr. Ogunbiyi, his teeming supporters across the state has constitutional rights to express their views through the social media but such opinions should never be taken as his official position or that of the Idera De Movement, IDM.

While he is thankful for many write-ups in support or defense of his political activities, he, however, clarified that his position on issues has always been conveyed through his official press medium. He advised the general public to take note.

He also reiterated his commitment to the victory of PDP at all levels in the forthcoming elections and enjoined his supporters to keep hope alive.
