The Jugawa state All Farmers Association,(AFAN) has announced that the recent visit by the minister of Agriculture and rural development, Honourable Abubakar Kari would open more windows of opportunities to farmers and pave ways to actualizing successful food production in the state.
In a press statement signed and issued to our correspondent by the state AFAN chairman Alhaji Idris Yau Mai Unguwa Jaga disclosed that ” From what is being seen during the minister’s recent visit to Jigawa state, agriculture would continue to become more developed especially when there is a collaborative efforts between the All Farmers Association, and the Jugawa state government “.
Mai Unguwa Jaga added that the Jigawa state governor Malam Umar Namadi has already included agriculture into his 12 points agendas, therefore it would be very easy to work hand in hand with the AFAN in promoting profitable agribusiness as one of the factor that influence national economic growth at both dry and rainfall seasons.
” On behalf of the state exco of our great association, the local government chairmen and wards leaders of the association, i congratulates his Excellency Governor Umar Namadi for the success of the minister’s visits. And I assured Jigawa farmers that our occupation would be profitable with minimal or zero loss”. He concluded.
