In a recent development, a Federal High Court in Abuja has directed the remand of former Minister of Power and Steel, Olu Agunloye, in Kuje Correctional Service. The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) had charged Agunloye with allegations of fraud related to the Mambilla Power Project. The ex-minister, who pleaded not guilty to the charges, appeared before the Federal High Court on Wednesday. The judge, pending the grant of bail, ordered Agunloye’s remand. Further details on this case will be provided in due course.
