Gunmen shot and killed Alhaji Abdulmutallib Sansani, the third class Chief of Sansani Chiefdom in Taraba State, on Thursday night. A source, who had prayed with the chief earlier, said the attack occurred around 10:25 pm at one of his houses outside the palace in Gassol Local Government Area. The gunmen seemed to be monitoring the monarch, following him from the palace after evening prayers. Further details are awaited.
