Kachallom Daju Now Permanent Secretary of Health Ministry

The Permanent Secretary of the Federal Ministry of Health Olufunso Adebiyi has handed over to Kachollom Daju as the new permanent Secretary of the ministry following his deployment to the State House.
Kachallom has since resumed after the handing over ceremony at the Ministry on Friday 11 August 2023.

Adebiyi who had a stint of ten weeks at the ministry urged the staff to extend their hand of cooperation to Kachallom.

Kachollom Daju solicited for cooperation of the management and staff of the Ministry to actualize its mandate.

Daju emphazied that the place of teamwork is key to enhancing the productivity, achievement and mandate of the Ministry.

She said, “I am hopeful that with your full cooperation, I can settle in quickly, and work will continue in earnest.” 

She expressed hope that the management and staff would work positively with her as a team, to support the Ministers and to continue to actualize the mission of the Ministry and the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Tinubu in the health sector.

Daju said that she hopes to reduce to barest minimum incessant strikes with the various unions under the Ministry. 
She promised to push the health ministry by publicizing its programmes and achievements. 

The Director, Human Resources, Hassan Sallau promised maximum cooperation from management and staff with the Permanent Secretary, for the overall success of the Ministry.

Before her redeployment to the Health  Ministry as Permanent Secretary, Kachollom Daju was the Permanent Secretary, Labour and Employment. She also served in various capacitPress Secretary, Federal Ministry of Agriculture & Rural Development as well as Head, Heart of Africa Project, Nigeria’s image project.
