Kadiri Edah warns staff to shun corruption, as new Director FCT- MPWB

The new Director of Federal Capital Territory , FCT, Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Board, MPWB, Mallam Kadiri Edah has warned the staff to shun all forms of corruption and practices capable of tarnishing the images of the Board.

Edah have this warning at the maiden staff meeting with the staff of the Board as assumed the leadership of the Board.

The Director stressed the need for staff dedication to their duty and warned against any act capable of projecting a negative of image of the board, the FCT Administration and the country at large.

Edah solicited for the cooperation of all staff and other stakeholders to ensure the success of the hajj operations in line with the desired objectives of the present Administration.

Further, he highlighted the need for the staff to be dedicated to their duty and abide by rules and regulations of the service, adding that the Administration would not condone any act of corruption and indiscipline.

Meanwhile, Mallam Edah has pledged his commitment to scaleup value to the management and welfare of pilgrims as well as provide first class services to the FCT contingents by ensuring hitch free Hajj operations.

He also assured the staff of his readiness to prioritize Staff welfare and enjoined them to show commitment in handling pilgrims’ affairs and protect the image of the board and the FCT administration in general.

Mallam Kadiri Edah took over the mantle of leadership from Mallam Abubakar Adamu Evuti in a brief ceremony last week.

Mallam Kadiri Edah is a season administrator who joined the services of the Federal capital Territory Administration in 1994 and served in various Departments and Agencies which include Education Resources Center, ERC, Legal Services Secretariat, Abuja environmental Protection Board and Department of Human Resources Management where he served as Head of Staff Welfare and Benefit between 2019 and 2023.

He was promoted and deployed to the Secondary Education Board, SEB, as Director of Administration in 2023, the position he held until his recent appointment as Director of FCT Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Board.

Adah, who hails from Kogi State is a graduate of Usman Danfodio University , Sokoto, with a Bachelor of Science Degree (Bsc) in Management Studies in 1992.
