*Say’s 8yrs no minister from area

As push for Kaduna ministerial slot hots up, a group under the auspices of the All Progressive Congress (APC) Patriots, Northern Kaduna axis has thrown their weight behind Dr. Abdulmalik Muhammed Durunguwa from Southern Kaduna, as the most competent for the position.
The APC patriots also described Dr. Durunguwa as a personality who is exceptionally versatile, accomplished and tested in all spheres of his political activities, body language, and therefore declared him most capable and feat for the Minister to represent the state.
The group, in a statement Tuesday, signed by its Chairman and Secretary, Musbahu Adamu Gimi and Malam Nasir M. Dahir Soba, respectively recalled that the Ministerial slot vacuum created in Kaduna state as a result of Mal. Nasir el-rufai ouster has been generating unprecedented reactions from several theatres of agitations.
“However, we know the meticulous nature of Mr. President, His Excellency, Bola Tinubu, who is keen, in identifying an bringing on board, seasons and accomplished personalities, has never been in doubt.
“Recognizing this fact, the All Progressives Congress Patriots within the axis of northern part of Kaduna State has rummaged through the vast human potentials of various political and technocratic personalities a washed in Kaduna State.
“We therefore have a personality who is exceptionally versatile, accomplished and politically tested in all his activities and body language for the position of a Minister of the Federal Republic. This personality is no other than Dr. Abdulmalik Durunguwa.
“In pedigree, Durunguwa has carved a niche for himself in the political and personal firmament of Kaduna State politics in particular and Nigeria in general.
“Dr. Abdulmalik Durunguwa has equally garnered exceptional and rare pedigree in human relation engagements, grassroots involvement and his undeniable contributions and sacrifice he made during the tremendous electioneering campaign for the eventual victories of President Asiwaju Bola Ahmad Tinubu and His Excellency, Senator Malam Uba Sani of Kaduna State.
“Surprisingly, it might sound absurd for people to liken our decision to support a Southern- Kaduna indigene for the Position of a Minister of the Federal Republic instead of some one from northern part of Kaduna.
“Squarely and fairly, the Southern Kaduna has not had the opportunity of producing a Minister for over 8 years. However, in the spirit of inclusiveness and common destiny coupled with shared degree of togetherness, we will not oversee or overlook competence for trivial ethic considerations.
“Productivity, delivery, capacity and effective developmental pointers do not recognize ethno- centric spaciousness”, the group emphasized.
Accordingly, the APC patriots also noted that “There’s every opportunity that Dr. Durunguwa, when eventually nominated as a Minister of the Federal Republic will definitely match his words with his actions in the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Asiwaju Bola Tinubu administration. End
