Kano NURTW Commends Ganduje’s Policy On Transportation-Na Gwandu.

Kano state governor Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje has been called upon to bring out more strategies that promotes transportation in the state in order to boost the economic progress of the state through the transport sector.

The call was made by Malam Umar Na Gwandu, secretary NURTW mil Tara branch in an interview with our correspondent when Daybreak news visited the station, where he disclosed that” through well planned transportation programme, Kano’s economy would boost beyond expectation across the state”. He said.

Na Gwandu lamented that NURTW is working day and night to ensure that transportation is going hitch free and safety by routine public safety programmes in accordance with roads use regulations where the drivers and passengers are being enlightened in a series of public enlightenment.

He disclosed that ” we are also trying our best to promote good understandings between our drivers, the passengers and the roadworthy security personnel like officers of the Road safety corps (FRSC), the VIO’s, Police, Customs, Immigration men of the NSCDC as well as other stakeholders that are working on our roads”. He stated.

Furthermore, Malam Na Gwandu called on the drivers and other vehicle owners to bear with the recent fuel price increase by the federal government which is in line with the drop in global oil price and the affect of Covid-19 pandemic that remained a global issue.

The secretary concluded that” on behalf of the members of the NURTW Mil Tara branch, we commend governor Ganduje for his good policy in the area of transportation by introducing town services using Luxurious buses and proposed light rails services in the state”.
