Kebbi state Gov, wives visit Kebbi State Pilgrims Welfare Agency in Preparation for Hajj Airlift

Wives of the Kebbi State Gov. Dr. Nafisa Nasir and Hajia Zainab Nasir have both visited the Kebbi State Pilgrims Welfare Agency in Birnin Kebbi to inspect the facility ahead of the commencement of airlifting of intending pilgrims to Saudi Arabia.

During their visit, the governor’s expressed delight over the renovation of the agency’s facility, commended the Governor Dr. Nasir Idris and Chairman Alh. Faruk Aliyu Enabo for their efforts in repositioning the agency to its maximum standard.

Chairman of the Pilgrims Board, Alh. Aliyu Enabo thanked the Governor’s wives for their visit and support, describing their gesture as rewarding from an Islamic point of view.

He also commended the governor for his financial support to the State pilgrims, as he prayed for Allah’s abundant reward.

The Governor’s wives urged women pilgrims to be good ambassadors of the state in the holy land and to abide by the Saudi authorities’ rules and regulations. They also called for prayers for the nation to overcome security challenges.

The visit was attended by commissioners, wives of House of Assembly members, Senior Special Assistants to the Governor, Elders forum, and family members.
