Kim and Kanye’s surrogate is in labour. Apparently, they’re waiting at the hospital to meet their baby boy.
Kim’s sister Kourtney broke the news to her mom, Kris Jenner, on the Ellen Degeneres show last night. Kim was scheduled to appear on the show alongside her family, but had to dash off to the hospital to wait for her baby boy.
This will be Kim and Kanye’s fourth child. Their first was North, who is now five years old. Then came little Saint, who is three years old and then their 15-month-old daughter, Chicago. All three of them were sitting on Ellen’s sofa with Kourtney, Kris and a few of their cousins.
When Ellen asked Kourtney where her sister is, she said: “So, my mom doesn’t even know this but Kim’s surrogate went into labor so she’s at the hospital.” Kris was shocked. “What are we doing here? Come on, Ellen! Fire up the car,” she said.
Kim gave birth naturally to her first two children, North and Saint. Then she and Kanye decided to have their third, Chicago, by surrogate when they found out that Kim has a life-threatening condition called placenta accreta. Her doctor had warned her that it would be too dangerous for her to carry another child.
Back in January, Kim had confirmed that she and Kanye were expecting their fourth child. She also confessed that she had a bit to drink on Christmas Eve and couldn’t remember who she’d told. “I got drunk at our Christmas Eve party and told some people. I can’t remember who I told because I never get drunk,” she told Andy Cohen on Watch What Happens Live.
