The Chairman, Bayelsa State Council of Traditional Rulers, His Royal Majesty, King Bubaraye Dakolo, Agada IV has commended Association of National Accountants of Nigeria (ANAN) for its commitment to enhancing leverage of professional Accountants.
He stated this on Monday during a courtesy visit by the ANAN leadership to the Council of Traditional Rulers in Bayelsa State.
The King said ANAN through its Mandatory Continuing Professional Development (MCPD) programme continually evolves diverse expertise designed to suit individual Members’ specialty.
He further commended the Association for unifying diverse Nigerians through the MCPD knowledge and skills training platform.
ANAN 1st Vice President, Dr. James Ekerare Neminebor who represented the President, Rev. Canon Prof. Benjamin Chuka Osisioma at the occasion said ANAN is committed to continuously improving and redefining the standards of Accountancy practice for accountability and national prosperity.
He said the Association’s MCPD programme is structured to explore diverse topics and expertise to broaden the capacity of Accountants for optimal service delivery.
