Kizz Daniel Opens Up About Fatherhood: “Having my kids made me more human

In a candid conversation on the latest episode of the Afrobeats Podcast with host Adesope Olajide, Nigerian singer Kizz Daniel, also known as Oluwatobiloba Daniel Anidugbe, shared his thoughts on how fatherhood has profoundly impacted his life.

The Buga singer expressed that becoming a father had transformed him in ways he never expected. He mentioned that having children had brought out a different facet of his humanity, making him more social and empathetic. Kizz Daniel emphasized that fatherhood had instilled in him a strong desire to be a better person, and he was grateful for the positive changes it had brought to his life.

He stated, “Having my kids just made me more human, and I appreciate it so much. I can relate with people and connect with people more, and I always want to be a good person.”

Kizz Daniel also gave insights into his parenting style, revealing that he is a strict father, unlike the children’s uncle who tends to spoil them. He humorously mentioned that he was “training them to be militants” and took a firm approach in raising his children.

In 2021, Kizz Daniel surprised the world with the announcement of the birth of his twin boys, Jelina and Jalil, born on his birthday, May 1. The news was met with widespread joy and congratulatory messages from fans and fellow celebrities. He later revealed that his partner had given birth to triplet boys but sadly lost one of them four days after birth. In response, Kizz Daniel vowed to be an exceptional father to his boys and even purchased penthouse apartments in Lekki for them.

While Kizz Daniel has generally kept his children out of the public eye, his commitment to being a devoted and responsible father remains evident.
