The Chairman, Kogi State Assembly Service Commission, Alh Andas Malik on Monday called on staff members to make use of the organised training to enhance their capacities.
Alh Andas Malik who made the call while declaring open the training organised to mark the second anniversary of the commission noted that workers in the Commission and state assembly are now administratively under the custody of the Commission.
Andas stressed that the series of trainings, which heralded resource persons from the Commission, are meant to broaden the experience, knowledge and capacity building of workers for the development of the state.
Alh Malik also noted that despite scarcity of funds, the Commission has lofty programmes that will better the lots of staff and even easing transportation problem for the workers of the commission.
The Clerk of Kogi State House of Assembly, Alh Ibrahim I Amoka and the Permanent member, Hon. Arome Adoji, who doubled as Chairman of the event, who spoke differently stressed the importance of such trainings, noting that no knowledge is lost.
