The movement for the CJ’s evacuation was raised by Majority Leader, Abdullahi Hassan (Ajaokuta, APC) and favored by Toyin Lawal (Yagba West, PDP) following the accommodation of report by Chairman, House Committee on Public Account, Ahmed Muhammed.

The report arraigned the CJ and Chairman, Kogi Hajj Commission for monetary ruptures.
