Kogi Election: Ododo Canvasses For Kogi East’s Massive Votes in November

The governorship candidate of All Progressive Congress, (APC) in the Nov. 11 election in Kogi state, Alhaji Usman Ododo over the weekend at Anyigba enjoined the people of the eastern senatorial district in the state to vote him massively.

Alhaji Ododo made the call at the eastern senatorial district joint rally of the All Progressive Congress held at Anyigba primary school in Dekina local government of the state.

He appreciated President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Vice President, Kashim Shettima for believing in Kogi development Agenda for Peace, protection of lives and property in the state.

He enjoined the people to vote him en-mass come November 11, 2023 stressing that a vote for APC is a vote for development, progress and unity of the state.

He commended President Bola Tinibu for appointing Alhaji Shuaibu Abubakar Audu as Steel Development minister, assuring that with an indigenes as the managing Director, Ajaokuta steel company would be revived.

Earlier, the chairman of Kogi state APC”s governorship campaign organisation, Alhaji Shuaibu Abubakar Audu said “we are here today to sell a Kogi agenda, an agenda that represents the interests of the entire Kogi state.”

The minister of steel Development pointed out that, APC represents a Kogi agenda which Alhaji Usman Ododo, has a vision to build on the legacy of Alhaji Yahaya Adoza Bello.

Audu stressed the readiness of the government to bring massive job opportunities to the incoming administration through the agricultural revolution and through expanding the capacity to be able to produce several agricultural produce across Kogi State, but particularly in Kogi East.

He disclosed the commitment of president Bola Tinibu and interest in the future and the success of Kogi State through the development of Ajaokuta Steel and providing massive job opportunities.

To achieve these, “we must ensure that Kogi State is not handed over to a hostile government, a hostile government being all the opposition parties. We cannot afford to hand over a strategically important state such as Kogi State to another party.”

“We must continue and consolidate on the good work of our governor, Alhaji Yahaya Adoza Bello, by voting massively for Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo.”
