Kogi State Governor Ahmed Ododo reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to enhancing the state’s security architecture, aiming to make Kogi unbearable for criminals. The governor made this statement on Thursday while flagging off the second batch of 100 operational vehicles for security agencies at the Government House in Lokoja.
The donation of the 100 new armoured personnel carriers is intended to sustain ongoing clearance operations against criminal activities across the state.
“It is in fulfillment of our promise to ensure security that we are gathered here for the distribution of operational vehicles to security agencies to enhance their mobility and utilization in our dear state,” he said.
State Security Adviser Commander Jerry Omodara (Retired) emphasized that the distribution of vehicles aims to support security officers in ongoing clearance operations throughout Kogi. He noted that this gesture aligns with the state government’s determination to guarantee the security of lives and property.
Kogi State Commissioner of Police Bethrand Onuoha expressed gratitude for the governor’s commitment to securing lives and property in the state.
