Laila Charani’s Anniversary Message to Ned Nwoko and Regina Daniels Sparks Reactions

Laila Charani, the fifth wife of Nigerian senator and politician Ned Nwoko, has caused a stir with her anniversary message to him and his youngest wife, Regina Daniels.

On Tuesday, Ned and Regina celebrated their 5th wedding anniversary. Regina described the past five years as remarkable, expressing gratitude to God and hoping for many more years of love. Ned echoed this sentiment on his Instagram, calling the past five years “good and eventful” and stating that their journey was just beginning.

In the comments, Laila Charani joined others in wishing the couple well, writing, “Happy anniversary to you.” This prompted a mix of reactions from followers.

One user, Ugamy, questioned the nature of polygamy, writing, “Na so polygamy dey sweet?”

Chikabrie8966 responded with, “You’re loved.”

Esther Ode37, agreeing with Ugamy, commented, “Make we know now. So we go know if na the right way to follow.”

Rahsey added, “It is not easy but when a woman is patient for her husband to marry another woman, God rewards her.”

I Am Doring advised, “Just be happy for her, no need asking such questions.”

I Am A Gogetter praised Laila’s character, writing, “You have such a beautiful heart.”

Emilia Akpabot blessed her, saying, “You are a good and gracious woman. May Allah grant you your heart’s desire. Amen.”

Earlier, Laila had shared a post accepting that Ned isn’t hers alone. She posted a photo of them together at an event, referring to him as “our” husband, acknowledging the polygamous nature of their marriage.

Their relationship has had its ups and downs. In 2021, Laila, a Moroccan model, announced her split from Ned, citing challenges and issues she attributed to Regina Daniels. However, in a surprising turn, she apologized to the Nwoko family in September 2022, blaming her actions on external influences. Ned accepted her apology, and in January, he reaffirmed his love for her with a heartfelt note.

Earlier this year, Laila and Regina resolved their differences, with Regina joining Ned to celebrate Laila’s birthday.
