By Joyce Remi-Babayeju

The FCT Minister, Barr. Nyesom Wike has said that the Mabushi and Kugbo bus terminals when flagged off will provide an efficient transportation system in the territory.

Wike stated this on Monday when he went on inspection of the Mabushi and Kugbo Bus Terminals in the heart of the capital territory.

The FCT minister gave assurance that with the speed of the ongoing work by the contractor , the transportation projects will be flagged off in July 2025.

Wike who was happy with the speed the contractor is going on, gave the assurance that the projects will be delivered before the given period of 15 months.

He said,” I am so excited, this site will be flagged off on July 1 and within three months, you can see what they have been able to do.”

“The time given to them is 15 months to complete the project, but with the speed, the contractor is going, we believe it will be before that 15 months. He has also told us that by January, he will deliver those projects in Mabushi and Kugbo to us.”

The FCT Minister stated that with the timely delivery of the bus terminals, Abuja residents will see that the landscape of the area has changed.

We have given them an efficient transportation system, and we are very happy with what we have seen, he noted.
