Maikalangu lauds AMAC Press Corps Chairman’s induction into NIPR

The Executive Chairman of Abuja Municipal Area Council (AMAC), Hon. Christopher Zakka Maikalangu, has congratulated the Chairman of AMAC Press Corps, Comrade Wisdom Ack, over his induction into the prestigious Nigerian Institute of Public Relations (NIPR) family last Friday, 28th March, 2025 at the Nasarawa State University, Keffi.

In a statement on Wednesday, signed by Mr Kingsley Madaki, Senior Special Assistant on Media and Public Affairs to the Executive Chairman of AMAC, the AMAC boss described Comrade Wisdom Acka’s induction as a recognition of his contributions to the media profession in FCT and his wealth of experience in the journalism profession.

Maikalangu noted that Comrade Acka has also always maintained the highest ethical standard in the exercise of his constitutionally enshrined duty as a member of the 4th Estate of the Realm.

He further praised Acka for his support and contribution to his administration and pledged his support towards ensuring that the he accomplishes his goals in the future and prioritize professionalism, training, and mentoring to ensure he build a lasting legacy.

Maikalangu said, “I am always happy to hear about the accomplishments of people in my administration, especially members of the press corps. I have known Comrade Wisdom Acka for many years now and l am always proud of his achievements.”
” As the Chairman of AMAC press corps covering my administration, I have enjoyed a very good relationship with members of the press corps.

“It’s no mean feat to be inducted into NIPR. You must be a media practitioner worth his onion. Therefore, I am happy to celebrate with this professional who has ensured my administration gets the best publicity any administration can ever wish for.”
” The induction of Comrade Wisdom Acka is the first of many to come and I hold him in the highest esteem.

“My assurance is that I’ll continue showing gratitude to the press corps for being partners in progress. Wherever I am going wrong, the press corps should not hesitate to draw my attention.”
” Together, we will take AMAC to enviable heights. Once again, congratulations to Comrade Wisdom Acka even as I wish him the very best in the media profession.”
